TRATTLINE™ Brushed
The brushed treatment, performed by a heavy wood surface removal process using special machines, gives the skirting board an "antique" aspect and makes the surface grainy with wide pores.
TRATTLINE™ Oiled
The profile is oiled with special opaque acrylic paints that fully cover the profile, creating a final ”oil effect”.
This special application does not require further oil applications or maintenance as hardwood requires.
Skirting board oiling can be combined with the brushed process.
TRATTLINE™ Antiqued
The antiqued skirting board is the most classic treatment in the trattline line where profiles are antiqued using a dyeing process.
The antiquing treatment can be combined with the brushed process, making the skirting board even more special.
TRATTLINE™ Water finish
Our skirting boards can be painted with solvent-free water-based paints.
The water-based profiles generally slow the oxidation process also caused by air exposure and under specific ultraviolet rays.
TRATTLINE™ Bleached
Bleached profiles are skirting boards that undergo a process that makes their surfaces very opaque and light.
This process is performed on two types of oak and larch woods, woods that are specifically suited for this type of treatment, but other types of wood can be treated this way upon request.
The bleached line also include “bleached ice” and "bleached white ice": the first has an even lighter effect than the normal bleached profile while the second bestows a special white colour to profiles.
Bleached profiles can also be brushed, further enhancing the beauty of the wood fibre and grain.
TRATTLINE™ Pickled
This special process, much longer and more complex, bestows a unique effect on our profiles.
Subject to various processes, profiles are initially bleached, then sanded and painted: the highly special and pleasing aesthetics further enhance the beauty of the wood grain that become white.
This process is performed on a single type of oak wood that is specifically suited for this type of treatment, but other types of wood can be treated this way upon request.
The “Black Pickled” model is also highly popular where the oak wood is first bleached and then darkened with a black base. An additional process enhances the white wood grain on the black skirting board base.
